Noswaith dda, from Wales!

Noswaith dda (meaning Good Evening in welsh) from these happy bird watchers today.

Today we arrived in Bala, Wales, checked in to our lovely hotel and went on a small walk in Betws-y-Coed.

While there we went on a sunny walk through the Gwydir Forest, hike over rock terrain and finally saw our first bird of this welsh hoilday.

As we walked through Gwydir Forest, we did manage to take some lovely scenic pictures. The walk was amazing and so peaceful.

But this trip was not in vain, as we manage to get a glimpse of a beautiful heron, hiding along the rocks.

The beautiful Heron, our only find of the day.

DID YOU KNOW?

Herons are among the earliest nesters. It’s not unusual for some birds to lay their first eggs in early February, though the normal start is early March, peaking at the end of the month.

I have to add these here, as they are some of my favourite pictures of Luke.

Anyway, will talk to tomorrow after I have had my adventure climbing Snowdon. Wish me luck.
